Net Result Trivia
DID YOU KNOW?
Tilapia
Tilapia inhabit a variety of fresh water habitats including shallow
streams, ponds, rivers, lakes, and estuaries. Most tilapia are omnivorous
with a preference for aquatic vegetation and detritus. Tilapia is
the third most important fish in aquaculture after carps and salmonids.
Like other large fish, they are a good source of protein and a popular
target for artisanal and commercial fisheries. Tilapia have very low
levels of mercury as they are a fast-growing and short-lived fish
that mostly eats a vegetarian diet and therefore do not accumulate
mercury found in prey. Tilapia is a low total fat, low saturated fat,
low calorie, low carbohydrate and low sodium protein source. It is
also an excellent source of Phosphorus, Niacin, Selenium, Vitamin
B12 and Potassium. |

Welcome to The Net Result! |
Welcome! We are an "upper scale"
fish market located at The Tisbury Marketplace,
79 Beach Road in Vineyard Haven, on Martha's Vineyard Island,
Massachusetts.
"Our fish are so fresh they'll
make you blush!"
We wouldn't let them leave the Island if we
didn't feel they'd arrive in perfect shape, thanks to careful packing
and shipping under rigidly controlled conditions. We pride ourselves
on the quality of our merchandise. We've also done a complete renovation
to our harbor front store, adding spacious ordering counters, increased
product capacity, large lobster tanks so you can pick your sizes,
a delicious fresh sushi service, and a tasty take out counter with
an ample outdoor picnic area for you to enjoy lunch. We've got 'The
Net Result Martha's Vineyard' T-shirts and hats for your self or
as gifts, and a great selection of related condiments, relishes,
and food products to make your stay by the sea very satisfying!

Fish and your
Health
Three studies recently published in the New
England Journal of Medicine suggest that eating fish once a week
may significantly reduce the risk of heart attack, and may be beneficial
to people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and asthma. We could
go on and on about this, but we're sure you've heard it all before.
If you don't believe us, ask your doctor or local eskimo.
